- Great close to our "Plan B" series today!
- We always pray before every series that God uses it to speak to people right where they are at...with this series that has definitely been the case...tons of stories from people who are experiencing Plan B's in their lives.
- We closed out the series with a simple gospel message...examining that through the Cross we find hope!
- Love the song "Everything Falls" by Fee...great song that speaks right to the heart of the theme of the day.
- In fact the entire last Fee album is pretty great!
- Some of the highlights from the morning from the message for me were:
- I can't give you a bow to tie this series all together, but I can offer you something better...a cross.
- The cross reminds us that God is trustworthy.
- When you put your trust in your circumstances you begin to doubt God's trustworthiness.
- You are as close to God right now as you want to be.
- In Jesus we discover that good people do end up on the cross.
- Can't wait to kick off a new series called "Mentor Me" next Sunday...don't miss it!
- Today was also Matt Robinson's last Sunday at BridgeWay (at least as a formal staff member).
- Matt has been a great friend and an amazing staff member for the last 3 years, and I can't wait to see what God does through he and his team at Second Chance Church!
- Don't worry we'll get him back to teach a few more times before they launch in 2012.
- If you think about it...pray for us as we seek God's direction for our next staff member at BridgeWay, and begin the process of looking for a future church planting resident.
- Looking forward to what God has for us next Sunday!
