Several of our LifeGroups will be launching this week!  If you're not in a group, I hope you'll take the step to get into a group this week.  You can register online at www.bwcc.tv by going to the "Get Involved" link.
Here are this week's LifeGroup discussion questions:
1. Have you ever thought about the emotions that were represented at the cross?  What emotions do you think you would have felt that day?

2. How do you typically respond to situations that feel out of control or that make you feel powerless? For instance, are you likely to work harder, to try to get things organized, to try to get away from the situation, or to lean more on God?

3. If you could have any superpower, what would it be? What do you think this says about your needs, your hopes, and your fears?

4. Read John 16:33.  Where are some places that people look for hope and peace other than in Christ?  How does it make you feel to hear Jesus say, "in this world you will have trouble."?  Why do you think that a lot of Christians ignore this truth or pretend like it doesn't exist?

5. Read Hebrews 6:19.  In what ways in the cross of Jesus a trustworthy anchor for our souls?  How can the cross lead us to see through the pain of our circumstances into the presence of God?

6.  The cross reminds us that God can take something extremely painful and make something beautiful.  What situation are you facing right now where you need to allow God to make something beautiful out of your pain?
