I've been reading Chip and Dan Heath's book "Switch" and came across this great question, "What is the ratio of time I spend solving problems to the time I spend scaling successes?"
We have natural tendency to identify the negative, rather than to magnify the positive.
Why not make the choice to magnify the positive!
Pretty sure that brings more honor to God anyway.
"Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalted his name together" - Ps 34:3

I learned to celebrate the small things, to celebrate something every Sunday. A spirit of success within the church is a good thing and as Crawford says, Too much of that is never enough. It makes people hungry for more.

I agree. Look for the bright spots and celebrate them, and then multiply them.
