- Great start to our new series "Becoming" today!
- The band did a cover of "Rebirthing" by Skillet!
- We saw several people "re-born" today!
- Gave out several next steps bags today.
- I preached on John 3 for the first time in my life today. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed studying for this message and preaching it.
- Used a rubber-band for an illustration that where there is the greatest tension in our lives, there is also the greatest opportunity for growth.
- Also used it to talk about the distance/gap between the person we are and God's plan for our becoming.
- A very healthy tension in the room at 11am.
- Said goodbye to Kyan Glenn, our summer intern from Olivet today...we'll be praying for you buddy! God has great things in store for your life!
- A special shout out to Jesse Miller for building our backdrops for this series! They looked great!
- We were going for a stained glass look, but someone said it looked like the Partridge Family...I said the "who"? Seriously, do I look old enough to remember the Partridge Family?
- Looking forward to the next two weeks of "Becoming"...and wishing that this series were a little longer...I think it's going to be one of the best of the year!
- Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 6th at 11am...BBQ & Baptisms!
- Have a great week!
