• What a great morning at BridgeWay!
  • This morning was pretty amazing on so many levels.
  • I can honestly say that today's worship set was one of the best we've ever experienced as a church.
  • I personally worshiped a deeper level than I have in a long time.
  • Rhonda did an amazing job leading us in worship with the song "Hungry". This set the tone for the rest of the morning.
  • The place litterally was shaking at 9:30 when we were singing "Beautiful Jesus" by Kristian Stanfill.
  • Tough not to find yourself worshiping when you consider the following lyrics, "Beautiful Jesus, Beautiful Savior,Nothing is greater, brilliant Creator, Friend of mine. Perfect in power, Matchless in glory, Nothing is greater, Brilliant Creator, Friend of mine.
  • Pretty amazing that the God of the Universe would condescend into our world. I'm reminded of Philippians chapter 2.
  • I felt like today's message on Matthew 19 really connected on a lot of levels.
  • My favorite lines from the morning were:
"Christianity is a series of next steps, where I fall more and more in love with Jesus, and less and less in love with myself."

"What are you holding on to that you love more than you love Jesus."
  • Loved the way the band did U2's "Beautiful Day"! They absolutely nailed it at the 9:30 worship experience.
  • It was great having about 20 guys from Peoria Teen Challenge in worship with us at 9:30.
  • Rick Otey from BridgeWay volunteers by leading a Bible Study with about 14 guys from Teen Challenge every Monday night...awesome ministry!
  • Really getting excited about next week's message "Where the Streets Have No Name".
  • One of our biggest non-big event Sundays at BridgeWay as far as attendance goes...something like 330.
  • Tons of other guest and first time friends today!
  • Great to have Ray and Pam Barker with us and some friends of theirs. Ray and Pam recently retired from leading the Peoria North-side Church of the Nazarene and have moved to Branson...great friends and it was great to have them with us today.
  • Excited to be Adopting several families as a part of our Christmas Adopt a Family event. We still have 1 gift tag left at the office...the first to call will get it!
  • Also very excited about our 2 Christmas Eve Worship Services at the BridgeWay Ministry Center. We will be having 2 identical services at 4pm and 5:30pm on Christmas Eve...be sure to pick up your FREE Tickets to help us manage seating!
  • Very bummed...it looks like my fantasy football team will not make the playoffs, even though they have the most overall points for the season...yes I am whining!
  • It was sweet to hear that UofM knocked off Duke yesterday...that's there second big win of the season...that team has come a long way!
  • Have a great week...and I'll see you next Sunday!
