I got to spend the day on Thursday with 4 guys from our church on the front row at Catalyst One Day. I was really looking forward to getting to hear from Craig Groeschel and Andy Stanley, and to be sure, those guys did not disappoint! But the surprise of the day was having Steve Fee lead worship. That guys heart for worship and for Jesus really shown through. I had always been impressed at how many of Fee's lyrics focused on Jesus and what he has done for us, but seeing him lead worship in person really helped me to understand just how much Steve really worships out of an appreciation and deep gratitude for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The biggest highlight was singing How Great Thou Art with about 1,500 other people all with their hands raised in worship...powerful doesn't come close to describing this moment. What a day!
