I had the opportunity to hear Tim Hancock deliver one of the most powerful questions I've ever been asked earlier tonight. Tim was preaching on the great commission and Peter's restoration in John 21. Like most pastors do, I was tracking along trying to figure out where the preacher was going before he got there when Tim asked a question that disturbed me to my core. So what was the question?

Are you committed to the "cause", or are you committed to Christ?

I gotta be honest, sometimes I let my passion for the cause of Christ get in the way of my passion for Christ.
