• Closed out our Q & A series today with a message answering several tough questions.
  • The toughest one was, "Why do bad things happen to good people?"
  • Last time I preached on that question was just after the South Asia tsunami...so it was strange to preach on it following everything that happened in Haiti on Tuesday.
  • Not only that, but several people in our church and connected to our church have been dealing with this question over the last week...it's amazing how God leads...we planned this service 4 weeks ago.
  • The worship team was stellar!  Great set and did a great job leading in worship.  Just nailed "Word of God Speak" by Mercy Me.
  • So many stories of people coming to BridgeWay this week because someone invited them or they needed to hear the message today...just awesome stuff.
  • We had a ton of announcements today...I don't like announcements, but these were important:
  • Saturday, February 6th we'll be having a night of Worship & Baptisms...don't miss it...and if you'd like to get baptized...email us at bwcc.office@gmail.com.
  • Our next All About BridgeWay Lunch is Sunday, January 31st...free lunch and free childcare.
  • Next Sunday we kickoff a 2 week series called "Life. Money. Hope"...it's a two week series taught by Dave Ramsey on biblical money management...please invite someone with you!
  • Also, we'll be offering Dave's "Financial Peace University" in our next LifeGroup semester...I'd encourage you to check it out if you're looking for financial help.
  • We also shared how we're going to be raising funds to Help Haiti...you can read more on my blog...just check some of my earlier posts.
  • After church I ran down to our Ministry Center for a quick photo shoot for our upcoming series on marriage called, " 'Til Death"...trust me you don't want to miss it!
  • Crazy weekend for my family...I'll be going to pick up Steph from visiting her grandfather tomorrow...she's been with him and her family for the last few days has he's been very ill.  Your prayers for her family are appreciated.
  • Also be praying for several families in our church dealing with loss.
  • Looking forward to seeing you all next week!
