Acts 24:25 "As Paul discoursed on righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said, 'That's enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you.'"

Preaching the truth of the gospel will make a lot of people uncomfortable.

I've talked with a lot of people who have done exactly what Felix does...hear the truth of the gospel, become uncomfortable, and send the messenger away with the words "I'll call you when it's convenient".

Listen, we can't wait until it's convenient to accept Christ. Following Jesus is never the convenient thing to do. It calls for right-living, self-control, and an eternal perspective...things that most of us would rather not think about right now....maybe later....when it's more convenient.
