• Great second week to our new series "Identity Theft".
  • Lots of feedback from women about last week's message called: Me, Beautiful?
  • You could really sense the tension in the room this morning at several points...it was a holy tension...very good.
  • Had the men represent this morning and wow they are loud!
  • 11am you guys were slightly louder than 9:30am.
  • I'm still sick...been sick for 4 weeks now with a nasty sinus deal that gives me a wicked sore throat after preaching.
  • Got to have lunch with some friends after worship...it was good to see Jon since he was in town from Atlanta for his son's birthday.
  • I'll be preaching to women again next Sunday...be sure to invite as many women as you can.
  • Another great crowd today...we're consistently seeing new people every week, and attendances between 325 and 350...greater things!
  • Talked about the 4 places men feel pressure to "Man Up" today: Physically, Emotionally, Provisionally, and Professionally...but most struggle to Man Up Spiritually.
  • Shared four things guys can do to Man Up Spiritually: 1) Recognize their strength is limited. 2) Identify their strengths & discover God's gift. 3) Identify their weakness & discover God's strength. 4) Seek God's wisdom.
  • Watched the movie Taken this weekend...not a lot of buzz on tv about this movie, but if you're a dude who likes action movies all I can say is dang...Liam is one tough dude in this movie.
  • Okay enough about tough men.
  • Worship was good today...9:30 we had some sound issues, but they worked through them and had things working really well at 11am.
  • Steve did a great job singing the Casting Crowns song "American Dream" today....lots of men moved by that one.
  • Had a great conversation over lunch about the need for us to develop a web broadcast of our worship services...lots of people who have to work on Sundays, but would be able to watch on the web if we could work out a way for them to do it....will begin working on this over the next few months.
  • Enjoyed our first Leadership Community event yesterday! Great first crowd...and I think it will be valuable to have an environment to meet with our leaders monthly.
  • Can't wait to see you all next Sunday.
