• Kicked off a new message series today called "Identity Theft". It's a series about reclaiming our identity from culture as men and women. This morning I spoke directly to women. Next week I'll be speaking to men.
  • I was wiped out after worship today. The challenge of speaking to women as a man has a way of taking it out of you.
  • So many women connecting with the message today...lots of tears both services...such an emotional topic...dealing with beauty and where women go to find their worth.
  • I think every woman grows up wanting to know that they are beautiful...unfortunately many of them sell their beauty at far too low a price. (see Proverbs 31:10)
  • The band had some great moments today...really loved the songs "Mirror" by Barlow Girl and "Beautiful" by Bethany Dillon...great messages for the morning.
  • Getting pretty excited to speak to the guys next Sunday. I'll be teaching a message called "Man Up"...if you know any men who don't go to church, get them here next week!
  • Another great crowd today. The 11am worship experience is really filling up...like I said a few weeks ago...if you can make it to the 9:30am do it.
  • If you're a volunteer leader at BridgeWay don't miss our Leadership Community event this coming Saturday at 10am at the BridgeWay Ministry Center. We'll provide refreshments and childcare.
  • Lots of wedding counseling coming on this week...it's getting to be that time of year again.
  • Watching Matt Lauer's interview with President Obama...interesting interview...technical difficulties...even NBC struggles to eliminate technical trouble in live events.
  • Had a couple of women ask me about the video we used this morning....I'll try to post it later this week.
  • Picking the Steelers over the Cardinals in the Superbowl today (24-13)...but will be rooting for the Cards and Kurt Warner.
  • Have a great week!
