• Great start to our new series "How to BE Rich"!
  • Always get a little nervous teaching on finances because it can be such a sore point with people, but I know as pastor, I am accountable for teaching a Biblical view on this important area of our lives.
  • If you didn't get a chance to be at BridgeWay today, you really need to download the message from our website and listen to it before next Sunday.
  • The teaching for this series is based off of some teaching that Andy Stanley did at Northpoint Church in Georgia last year...great stuff that really got me inspired for this series.
  • It was great to hear both services say, "God has blessed me with more than I need, I am rich."
  • In order to be good at being rich, we first have to admit that we are rich.
  • If we make more than $37,000 per year we're in the top 4% of wage earners in the world.
  • If we make more than $45,000 per year we're in the top 1% of wage earners in the world...convicting stuff right there.
  • I really enjoyed the two songs that band did today about God's provision. "Enough" and "Your Grace is Enough".
  • Really appreciated the encouraging comments from people after both worship experiences that this was teaching that they needed to hear.
  • Had some great God moments with people after both worship experiences today.
  • First service was pretty full today, but second service was bustin' at the seams...be sure to bring someone with you next week, and let's max that service out.
  • Pumped to hear that Michigan beat Illinois today...sorry all you Illini fans...but I'm a Wolverine!
  • Rematch on the 14th of January...anyone got extra tickets?
  • Yes, I did just make a plea for basketball tickets on my blog...but anyway, if you have extra tickets or know someone who does, let me know.
  • Getting really excited for the rest of this series. You don't want to miss next week's message called "Fire Yourself"!
  • Also, be sure to check back here everyday this week as I'm going to be sharing some insights from the congregational survey we took last week.
  • Thanks to everyone who took the survey. I think we had about 150 surveys completed, it's really going to help us take some important steps this year!
  • Have a great week, and see you next Sunday.
