vs. 6, 12-13 "When they heard this sound, a crowd came together...amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, 'what does this mean?' Some, however, made fun of them and said, 'They have had too much wine.'"
  • Whenever God's Spirit is working in a group of people it will draw a crowd.
  • I pray every day that God's Spirit would be at work in our church, drawing a crowd to see what is happening.
  • Some people from the crowd will be interesting in asking questions and ask, 'what does this mean for me?'
  • Others will make fun of what is happening, laugh at what God is doing, and totally miss the point.
  • I'm okay with having people laugh at me and miss the point, if it means that others are being drawn to God and experiencing life change.
