Another great day at BridgeWay. We kicked off our Old School series today with a message about the importance of connecting with God through daily time with God. Here are some of my reflections on today's events:
  • I'm really excited about our Old School series. I think it is time for all of us to take personal responsibility for our spiritual development.
  • This week I cast the vision for why it's important for us to spend time with God daily.
  • Next week I'll be getting painfully practical as I talk about how to study the Bible.
  • Really strong sense of God's presence during worship today. Chuck's really been picking some great songs lately.
  • I really felt God speaking to several people as I shared about taking time to "Lock eyes with God" this week.
  • Another great crowd today. Several first time guests and over 212 people in worship. Pretty awesome stuff.
  • Speaking of awesome stuff...how about the Giants defense and the 4th quarter that Eli played tonight! Wow, the first three quarters really stunk, but that 4th quarter was an instant classic.
  • We had a great group come out to watch the Super Bowl. I hope you had a great time wherever you were!
  • Really looking forward to sharing my thoughts with you on the book of John and what God is saying to me this week. Be sure to check my blog daily to see the mess that is going on inside my head.
