Proverbs 16:28 "A troublemaker plants seeds of strife; gossip separates the best of friends."

I can't tell you how many times I seen a friendship destroyed over careless words or an "Innocent prayer request". Most of the time we are best to keep our mouths shut. If there's ever a time when you're just itching to share some piece of information you have...take this advice...keep your mouth shut.

Do you tend to be someone who looks for opportunities to share what you know? Or are you careful to watch your words?

Yeah, it's interesting how many times Proverbs cautions us to be patient, be careful what we say, how we react to angry outbursts and insults. I like the one that says even a fool appears wise when he keeps silent. I need wisdom to speak the right thing at the right time, and to not say things that I will feel the impulse to say in the coming days and weeks.
