Reason #5 - You Plan to Cannibalize Other Churches

It's bound to happen, you plant a church and new people begin to attend.  Some of them will have little or no church background, while others will come from churches where they are dissatisfied with there experience.  While your church should be open to people who are coming from other churches, if you plan is to build a church for Christians who are dissatisfied with their church, be prepared for them to be dissatisfied with yours before too long.

I've seen several strong churches (100-200 people...some as large as 600 people) close there doors after loosing large (70-80%) numbers of people to the new flavor of the day church plant in the community.  Sorry guys, just seems like pretty bad missiology to me.
