- All I can say is wow! Now that's what I'm talking about...seriously, one of the best mornings ever at BridgeWay!
- After a pretty crazy week, with many nights not getting to bed until 2 am...the Schaeffer house is pretty tired.
- I was definitely worried this morning that I was less then prepared to preach. I usually prepare about 20 hours and today I was only about 12 hours into my preparation.
- I told Matt how nervous I was before the service, and he encouraged me to keep it simple and to cut quite a bit of my message. So I did, cutting about 40% of the message.
- Matt also told me that he woke up praying for me this morning. That's always a good sign...and it was needed.
- Huge props to the band today! That was the best I've heard them....they were ready to rock this morning and it showed. Great job leading us into God's presence!
- Great energy both services.
- I really felt like God was speaking to people about loving others today.
- Closing Communion was powerful...I'll miss being with you all the next two weeks while I'm out of town.
